24 of February 2024r - our first group of Erasmus' students set off in the world. They started their adventure from sighsting Madryt
We landed in Porto in the evening and after an hour we came to Barcelos,
where we found some strenght to play bowling.
25 of February 2024r - Hanging our Polish flag was the first sign of our joining to the rest of the students from the whole world.
As you can see, the rest of our group is from France, Germany, Greece, Czech Republik and French Gujana.
During the first day of the internship, we met our employers and got know our places of work and area where ther were located. Later, we visited Barcelos, swum in the swimming pool and we met with Romanian group.
26 of February 2024r - The first day of work after us. We came back at 4.30, tired a little but happy the we manage to communicate with everybody. Our English teacher was pride of us. We finihed ou day by playing a football match.
27 of February 2024r - This day we started from some pics connected with the international day of sleeping standing up.
Later was better and better and we worked so professionally that our teacher was proud of us. When we came back, we played match
(Polish-French-Italian-Greek gameplay).
28 and 29 of February 2024r - Next two days passed very quickly. We even started to speak Portugeese. When we came back from work, we swam in a swimming pool, went some shopping and won the match with the Greeks. We started to like Portugal very much.
1st of March 2024r - We started Friday from visit Michalina in her restaurant, looked at the Apulia Hotel and repaired few cars.. to end the day at the barbecue.
2nd of March 2024r - Today we spent the day on a trip. We visited Guimares and Braga to get know more about history and tradition of Portugal. Despite of the weather, we spent the day in a bery nice atmosphere.
3rd of March 2024r - The next day of sigsthing we spent in Porto, where we visited: railway station São Bento, bridge Ponte Luís I, church Igreja de São Francisco, tower, Torre dos Clérigos point and facade of the church Igreja do Carmo.
4th of March 2024r - The next day of the internship passed very quickly. We had got a beautiful weather today and we organised some activities in an escape rooms. Despite of the tasks written in English and Portugeese languages, we got aroud all traps and escaped on time. (Important news!... we spend time very nicely without our phones).
5 th of March 2024 - We were the last time on our interships today, so it was a sad day because we had to say goodbye to people who treated us like their own family.
We would like to thank them very much for their patience, charity and suport. It was worth of comming here.
6th of March - This day we spent at the bazaar (the oldest in Europe), we did some shopping and went to McDonald's to say goodbye to other students from many countries.
7th of March - and this is the end.... Two weeks passed like a whip. Polish group had a fabulous time here. Fantastic atmosphere, nice people and beautiful places like Barcelos, Ponte de Limo, Porto, Braga, Guimaraes and Viva da Castello, made us feel like at home.
Thank you to all employees of Mobility Friends, the president Nuno, ladies and gentelmen from the office, kitchen, canteen, reception and drivers for their smile and suport in every sytuation.

8 / 9th of March - we set out to home to rest and come back to school where we could tell about everything. We greeted with the headmistresses and we talked about our impressions.

Dear friends! We would like to inform you that our second group of students set off to conquer Portugal. Everybody is happy because the weather is fantastic. What more could you want?
After a long and tedious journey....... we arrived to Barcelos
where we are going to acquire some new skills during two weeks of internships. Beyond professional skills, which we start to learn on Tuesday, we could get know a part of the culture of Portugal known as "the compasso'". What is this? This is an act of consecration of the house with water and kiss of the cross. We hope that the next two weeks will be as exciting as the event we have seen today.

Today....... we have been on a trip to Barcelos and we couldn't complain on the boredom even if we missed our traditional Easter Monday's 'śmingus-dyngus'. We visited some ruins of medieval castle and we came through the bridge over the Cávado river. Later, we admired the wealth of architecture and lush vegetation and what's more, we saw Portugeese 'wet Monday'.

... and so it began ..... The first day of the internship passed very quickly. No tears, no sweat, no blood... Do they feel overworked? They say, that no.
What's more, they started to fall in love in Portugal... wow! It will be very difficult to come back to school's reality. Now,,, we enjoy the charms of life.. on the Iberian Peninsula.

Next busy day behind us... Some of the students were so haed-working that they forgot to take some pictures. To strike a balance between a work and life, they go for shopping. They deserve something from life :)

............We didn't even look back.. and we had reached to halfway point of our mobility. The first week expired in the atmosphere of getting to know their strenghts and weakness, making new friends and contact with culture and climate which is so strange from our Polish one. What will the second week bring? ....... Time will tell us ....
Today, after the work, we organised a barbecue together... because as some clever man said: "team work increases success"

Porto, the city lying on the river Douro, signed on the list of World Heritage UNESCO, has stood open in front of us. The students have discovered i'ts charms during the cruis over six bridges, hiking on the Ludwik Ist Bridge and walking along the alleys of the city, leading to the most beautiful train station - Sao Bento. It was wonderful.

When we finished our internships, we came into Barcelos to visit one of the oldest market in Europe and Viana do Castelo, the town called the pearl of the Nothern Portugal. We are going home tomorrow.

...and this is how we got to the end. Two weeks of internships in a beautiful country, full of history, tradition and incredible people. All of them were very nice and obliging for us. We could count on support and help in every situation, We are very grateful for it.
The last meeting durind dealt of the certificates confirmed our competing the internships, last hugs with our new friends and we leave this amazing country and it's wonderful weather behind.
